Almost Naked Animals, Volume 1 DVD #review

From the moment he was born, our youngest child refused to wear clothes. No matter what were doing or where we were going, every time we looked around the corner our child was NAKED!  So it’s only fitting that one of his favourite shows from the Cartoon Network that simply engages him and makes not only him but us as an entire family giggle is a show where a bunch of a loony characters run around in their underwear!

Almost Naked Animals Volume 1 on DVD

Animals that run around naked?  Well almost – LOL.  Almost Naked Animals is a comedy-adventure series featuring a lovable assortment of free-spirited animals (who all happen to be in their underwear) and most of them looked shaved, too!

The be-loved group is led by Howie as the animals work together (or against each other) depending on their moods in the running of the beach-front hotel, the Banana Cabana and trying to make each day more interesting than the next.

My Thoughts

Okay I will admit when I first saw this show I seriously thought I’m gonna go to jail for allowing my six year old to watch a bunch of animals run around naked. There has to be something wrong with that, right?

But I pretty quickly fell in love with the naked bunch (especially Howie and Bunny) and I think the best part for me was listening to my son giggle (like real belly laughs) at this group of zany characters that resemble the characters Ren & Stimpy (except) without the gore.  TAS was truly entertained and is now asking for the second volume to watch.

Special Perks

Almost Naked Animals is suitable for kids ages (6 to 11) but even our 13 year old loves it!  Trace was lucky enough to get a tote bag and t-shirt which he wore to school and made his teacher crack up the first day, seeing these guys in their undies. Too cute!  I love the tote bag!
