Camp Essentials For Your Child This Summer {Can Giveaway}

Summer is almost here with most of the kids almost out of school, and many parents are scrambling to put their kids into camps, over night sleepovers, day activities and more.  It also means there are certain essentials parents need to have this summer to help keep your kids safe.

Sun Protection!

This is vital in child safety this summer, especially if your child is going on day trips, will be outside and enduring the harsh elements of the weather.  Kiss My Face has a great sunscreen to help protect your child from dehydration, burns and keep their skin protected when the weather gets hot.  Best of all it’s waterproof, which is important since we all know kids love getting wet.

Made with Natural mineral sunscreen for fun in the sun! No nanoparticles, phthalates, fragrances, artificial colors or animal ingredients. Gluten free, biodegradable and not tested on Iggy or any other animals! Kiss My Face retails for $14.99 and can be purchased at most Canadian grocery stores.

Hats!

Sunscreen is important, but as parents we often forget those little heads need to be protected from the heat as well. So make sure you child has a proper hat to help screen away the sun and heat blazing down upon them. Often heat stroke doesn’t set in right away, and it can cause severe symptoms of vomitting, dehydration and other serious side-effects that can affect children when they are playing.

Lice Protection!

As parents we all know that protecting our children from lice outbreaks is never a nice thought during the school year.  It’s messy, horrible, and time-consuming.  So it is only natural that kids should have extra protection, especially when visiting overnight camps and day camps during the summer.

LiceSheild_shampooLice Shield 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner is safe for kids, clinically proven to help repel lice.  It’s better to avoid an outbreak and with Lice Shield Shampoo and Conditioner you can do just that.

liceshield_sprayLice Shield Leave in Spray is a great product. Simply spray into your child’s hair and leave it in. Made with safe ingredients that are scientifically proven to repel lice and gentle enough to use every day.  You can spray your kids hats, hair ties, pillow cases and bedding, so when sharing happens (even accidental) sharing, your child will remain safer from a lice transfer.

    fishing for raccoons. yep fishing! lol. we would tie marsh mellows on the end of fishing line (no hooks of course) and we would cast them towards the raccoons who were always close by waiting for pieces of food and when the raccoon got close to the line we would start reeling in. it was fun to see how close they got to us.
