i would donate 200,000 of it to a bunch of different LGBT organizations in NY then since my parents are tight on cash i would lend them some money to buy a new house because they want to move. Then i would buy myself a nice SLR camera because i am young and i feel it is important to record your life so you can look back. then i would spend some of it on fixing up the vintage cameras i bought at a garage sale. then i would put some in a college savings account because i really want to go to a good acting college. then the rest i would put in a different savings account for my hormone therapy because i am transgender and my parents insurance doesn't cover that sort of stuff

Funny, I was thinking about winning the "lottery" just last night…I'd pay off my personal and business debt first. I'd probably even sell my store and move somewhere warm & sunny…have a big house and nice cars. Oh and a fancy pool…and…oh there are so many possibilities!! :)

I can't even fathom the idea of coming into $1,000,000 dollars. If I did, I would pay off my mortgage, invest some money into savings (RESPs, RRSPs), travel, make a donation to several charities that I hold near and dear to my heart, and spend a little money on myself.

Very neat! Sadly, where I live $1 million does not go very far at all in Toronto: a typical house costs about $850K. Therefore, I would purchase a resale home, sell our current one, put some money aside for the kids' education, and plan a family vacation to Maui.

I used to participate in the Publisher's Clearing House years ago. I had forgotten about them, so are you guessing that I never won lol! With a million dollars, I would invest most of it,but would keep $100 000 for a pool, to travel, renovate the house and give some to my family members. Ok, maybe $ 200 000 is better!

If I won a Million dollars I would invest invest and invest. How? Own an investment property, rental unit, help our current business reach the heights it deserves. To make money it takes money. Of course treat everyone around us as much as we can!

Those are great aspirations Tammy, love how you said treat everyone around us. Super cool! And yes it takes money to make money, something we all tend to forget now and then. :)

Oh goodness, the things I would do with that much money. First, would pay off my house, bills, debt and then work our way to building our own house on a huge property in the county. I definitely would retire, but the hubby told me when we were talking about it that he would take a vacation, but would probably still work, lol.

I would retire too but also work and continue blogging. I love it too much! Plus you'd get bored if you did nothing all day. Well – maybe not. hahaha

I've dreamed of having my door bell ring with one of those big cheques for a long time. If I ever won, we would give our home a much needed reno, then put it up for sale and we would move to the country.
